Prepare the files
Before upload, rename files clearly and group related assets together. A readable filename helps the client understand what they are downloading, especially when there are multiple revisions.
Create a professional Smart Room
Add a sender note that explains what the client should do next. For visuals, keep preview enabled. For confidential work, disable preview and use password protection. If the client should access the file for a limited time, set expiration.
Update after sending
Use the private manage link to add new files, replace older versions, remove files or change expiration without sending a new public URL. This is the main advantage of a Living Link: the client keeps the same link while the delivery can evolve.
Recommended client flow: upload → sender note → expiration/password → public Smart Room link → save private manage link.
