When Time Capsule is useful
Use Time Capsule for scheduled releases, timed client delivery, event files, course material, announcements or any file that should not be downloaded before a specific date.
How it works
During upload, choose the future opening date and time. The Smart Room can show a countdown, but the important part is server-side: downloads stay locked until the scheduled time arrives.
Tips for scheduled delivery
- Use a clear sender note to explain when the file opens.
- Set the expiration after the open date, not before it.
- Test with a short future date before using it for an important release.
- Keep the manage link safe in case you need to adjust the room later.
